Wan's Dentist

Went in for a tooth extraction. The doctor was so gentle that I literally did not even realise the tooth was out already. It's been a few hours after the extraction and not alot of pain or swelling. I was so surprised and impressed.

My regular, to go dentist. I’ve done multiple services here, including numerous fillings (~10), scaling & polishing, and made a night guard against teeth grinding. Dr Wan is incredibly patient, despite my fears of dentists in general after a traumatic experience at a certain dental chain locally. He had always kindly explained each step & the purpose of his actions to alleviate my fears, and had always been incredibly considerate for my comfort too. Whilst it’s true that the clinic might look old and dated, Dr Wan’s decade of experience really shows in how seamless and comfortable the fillings feel and look. In fact, there was once when I had to head to another dentist for a crowning + root canal procedure, he enquired about who did my fillings, because of how good & well done they were. This reaffirmed my confidence in Dr Wan. Additionally, unlike major chains, he does not upsell nor push additional services that are not needed, and had always tried his best to save the tooth. The downside of this clinic is that he’s unable to do more complicated procedures (crowning, etc), and does not have a xray machine. However, Dr Wan had always been upfront about his limitations, and had often also encouraged second opinions for complex situations, and had never been pushy, and had always been objective.

Dr Wan is very patient and gentle with elderly. His charges are reasonable and we are happy to engage him. Thank you Dr Wan 😊
