I was referred to Dr Kimmy and have had several root canal treatments with her. She always explains the procedure and fees clearly before starting. I used to dislike root canal treatment, but with Dr Kimmy, I no longer feel reluctant to visit the clinic. She is very gentle and reassuring, and she makes the experience comfortable with a small pillow and music. She also explains each step and how long it will take, which really helps me feel at ease. Highly recommended.

I had to have a re-treat on a very old root canal. Dr. Kimmy is so on her game. She had me bring in headphones and sweater. Put a blanket on the and a small pillow under my neck. Her assistant didn’t just leave the little vacuum tool in my mouth the whole time and instead was in and out of my mouth very gently a million times. It was much nicer. She reminded me not to cross my legs in the chair to help relax my body during the procedure. And between the whole set up, classical music blasting in my ears and not having the suction on mouth getting sore- I FELL ASLEEP! I actually fell asleep while in the dentist chair getting a root canal. It sounds like an impossible sentence to consider. Though it was so brief, maybe a full 2 seconds, the fact that that could even happen is beyond me. She was also interested in my monthly schedule and traveling so that I could be treated in a timely manner but avoid possible infections and issues while away. She wants the best outcome for her patients. I will gladly be going back to Dr. Kimmy for any treatments and have recommended her to many friends.

A root canal sounds daunting, is daunting…. Dr Kimmy Lin and the team at Twin City Endodontics made it the best it could possibly be! Fabulous explanations on what is happening, what I am going to do, and RUOK were content reminders that I was in the best hands!! This was followed up with clear instructions for the after care and next steps. This was not my first root canal but definitely the best experience! Icing on the cake as a kiwi, was Otago being the university for qualification! Thanks so much!
