About a year ago, while on vacation in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, I cracked my lower right first molar while biting into rolled oats during breakfast. I recently did my wisdom tooth removal surgery at Toofus Dental and had such a positive experience that I had to leave a review. I was extremely anxious because my previous surgery (done elsewhere in June) was honestly traumatic — it took almost 2 hours, needed 7 injections of anesthesia, and I had severe pain and trismus for two weeks. I even got a dry socket and couldn’t eat properly or attend classes. So I truly expected the same this time. I saw Dr Amanda Koh because I had a foul taste in my mouth and suspected pus from my impacted wisdom tooth. She immediately confirmed it was pericoronitis, took a CBCT for proper assessment, and scheduled my surgery promptly. Throughout the whole process she was gentle, detailed, and very reassuring. To my surprise, the surgery was completed in about 20 minutes, and I only needed 2 injections. The difference was night and day. My post-op pain was mild and easily controlled with painkillers, and I could even go back to work the next day without needing MC. Dr Amanda also took extra precautions because of my previous dry socket — she checked in on me after the procedure and made sure my healing was going smoothly. Dr Dennis is very professional when questions asked. Many options for denture or implant. Though it’s my first visit, but I am very happy. Price are reasonable compared to other dentists. I am confident i will get the best results after the implant.
