Specialist Oral Surgeons

Had a throbbing pain in my upper right molar which was really bothering me. Made an appointment to see Dr. Terence Jee. After doing a series of tests, he recommended a root canal. I have had root canal procedures done twice before, so believe me when I say he is very good at what he does. From beginning to end, Dr. Terence made me feel very comfortable. He was extremely attentive to my needs and incredibly clear in communicating every step of the procedure to me. I liked how throughout the process, he explained what he was going to do next – for eg. what kind of sound I would hear (tapping or drilling sounds) and what I would feel, such as some pressure. All of this led to me feeling safe, secure and assured. No surprises or shocks at all. A root canal is never pleasant, so I highly recommend Dr. Terence Jee if you ever have a need to do one.

I never liked going to the dentist due to past bad experiences, however it’s safe to say that my view had changed for the better after my experience at Specialist Oral Surgeons. About 2 weeks ago I underwent my first impacted wisdom tooth surgery and had my decayed 2nd lower molar extracted under IV sedation. Dr Lim’s team received me that afternoon while reassuring me that it was not as bad as I thought it would be. Less than 20 seconds after receiving IV sedation, the next moment I knew the surgery was already over. They made sure that I was rested enough and that the sedation had worn off before letting me go home that day. Right after the surgery, most of the bleeding subsided after 4-5 hours and the following day I noticed that the aside from the light bruising on my lower jaw, I had very minimal swelling on my cheek. I am convinced that this was thanks to the immaculate technical skill Dr Lim displayed during the surgery. Even during consultation the week before Dr Lim was very professional in his assessment and also highlighted everything that I needed to know in detail before the surgery. The occasional light banter from him also helped calm my nerves. The gentle follow up from the staff on day 1 post surgery was also a nice touch. Overall the healing process took about 7-8 days before I could go back to my normal diet and I was very pleased with the whole process. I just took my stitches out after 2 weeks and couldn’t be happier with the choice I made. Once again big thanks to Dr Lim and team, would definitely recommend for any complicated oral surgery.

I recently had a minor surgery done by Dr Lim Kheng Ann , he very carefully explained the whole procedure to me, the whole process was very merticously done, painless( didn't even need to take pain killers post-op:) ) A great gentle, pleasant and very skillful surgeon .
