My root treated molar was exhibiting the classic symptoms of a root fracture, i.e., sharp pain on biting down, gum swelling, tenderness to percussion, etc. With a thorough examination corroborated by a 3D CBCT scan, Dr Lee confirmed the diagnosis. Dentists will usually try to save teeth, but due to the poor prognosis, extraction was the only option. Dr Lee saved me from going down the slippery slope of root canal retreatment and/or apicoectomy. We also discussed post extraction tooth replacement options and I opted for a dental implant. The extraction was performed as atraumatically as possible, followed by the immediate placement of the implant. The entire procedure was painless. I only felt some pressure and vibration. Postoperative recovery was swift thanks to the atraumatic extraction and Dr Lee's surgical precision. About four months later, an abutment was installed and the implant was ready to be loaded. TL;DR: When I saw the International Congress of Oral Implantologists accreditation hanging on the wall behind the clinic's reception counter, I knew I was in good hands. Had a dental emergency after felling in the toilet. My regular dentist is not opened on Sunday and took a gamble to see Dr Lee as he’s open on Sunday. Emergency cases usually costs a bomb but Dr Lee side just charges filling and misc. Reception is also helpful as I was hoping to claim on my accident insurance. Treatment was painless too, can feel he’s a lot more experienced than my regular dentist. Will probably switch permanently to this clinic.
