Both my lower wisdom teeth were prone to cavities and it got to the point that they had to be removed. The first one was done in 2021 and second one in 2025. Both were done by Dr Melissa Lim at Kong Dental Clinic (Sunshine Place). Dr Melissa is an amazing and proficient dentist. Before each surgery, she was patient and meticulous to explain the entire process: from the procedure itself to potential side effects and proper aftercare. During surgery, Dr Melissa demonstrated great dexterity and professionalism; every step was precise and reassuring. She even remembered details from my 2021 records about my dense tooth structure, which helped her perform the second extraction even more efficiently. After the procedure, the clinic followed up to check on my recovery — a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. Kudos to Dr. Melissa Lim and her clinical staff! We brought our 3 year old toddler to Dr Tan Hui Peng for his first ever dental appointment for routine cleaning. Dr Tan and Phet were very patient during the visit. Dr Tan explained everything and gave great advice in caring for our toddler's teeth and what we should be looking out for to avoid future dental issues. They made our toddler so comfortable, he was able to go through the entire appointment without fussing at all. We were initially worried about the appointment as toddlers can be unpredictable and the entire appointment might have to be cancelled if he does not cooperate, but Dr Tan and Phet really made us more confident about future dental visits.
