Doctor chen and all the staff are very welcoming. We enjoy our 15 - 30 min of extraction. My boy 6 years old not scared at all very gentle.

Unusually meticulous dentist n crew. 2 large LCD, a Bluetooth headphones for e show I was watching as I have a long session due to overdue dental needs. The competency of e dentist takes the cake! I do calibrate firms n crew n I am surprised one more firm score that well. Fullfilled more than the checklist.

(If I could give 6 stars, I would!) Super impressed with De Pacific Balestier! The location is very convenient, right next to Zhongshan Mall. Nurse Sherlyn is, in my opinion, the best dental nurse I’ve ever met. I never thought nurses talked much during dental sessions—most of my past experiences involved nurses silently dropping the water suction straw in my mouth and expecting me to endure it for a dry field. But I have sensitive gums and teeth, and the constant cold air from the suction has always caused discomfort. This was the first time a nurse chatted with me during the session to help me relax. Sherlyn recommended Netflix and even set me up with a headset. She suggested Culinary Wars—a show I never would have picked because Netflix usually recommends based on my viewing habits. To my surprise, it was such a fun distraction! I got so absorbed in the food they were cooking that it took my mind off the discomfort. Despite giving birth to two kids, I still find dental pain one of the most excruciating things ever, so I always Google dentists to find gentle ones. This was my first successful walk-in experience; I’ve tried other clinics in the area and had rough rides before. Sherlyn even noticed I was wearing shorts and offered me a blanket (it was raining that day). I didn’t expect it, and it turned out the blanket is free because they don’t recycle them—another wow moment! My temporary crown was beautifully done—see photo. Dr Chen did a fantastic job. You can tell that even the temp crown was made with care. She polished it so well that I didn’t feel any sharp edges. Unlike some dentists who dismiss discomfort, saying “it’s only temporary,” Dr Chen asked several times if it felt okay. That level of care and attention stood out. After my appointment, the clinic even WhatsApped me to follow up and check if I was in pain. This is truly 6-star service! I’ve already recommended De Pacific to my neighbours and proposed that my mum switch to them too. Thank you for putting up with this scaredy-cat at the dentist—Sherlyn and Dr Chen, you’re amazing!
