Chen Dental Surgery

Went for a wisdom tooth extraction first thing in the morning. Staff were friendly and the service was pretty good. The doctor came in on time and I didn't have to wait long for the procedure to begin. He did a quick observation of my gums and did an x-ray. After explaining to me the situation and explaining the costs we began the extraction straight away. He made sure I felt no pain but there were some uncomfortable moments since my tooth was hooked to my gums and there was an infection within my gums. He broke the tooth, pulled it out and cleaned the wound. After the surgery I was brought my medication (antibiotics, mouthwash, painkillers) and was explained on how to use them. After the numbing agent's effects faded, I was in terrible pain but the painkillers helped. It's been 12 hours since the surgery and I already feel fine. The bleeding has stopped but I am still playing safe with a liquid diet. Once this has healed, I will be heading back to remove my second wisdom tooth.

Staffs are friendly, service was good. Experienced and skillful doctor. Displays before and after photos. Cost is on the high spectrum, but okay if using CHAS card. Cost is in the 100+ range. Accepts Visa, Master.

Dr. Chen knows how to handle kids. The assistant too! They both know how to handle and explain clearly to children. Price abit expensive, but worth! They make children "first experience to the dentist" a fun way 😊 thank you Dr Chen and Assistant (Chinese lady).
