Bernard Tan Dental Surgery

Dr Tan is indeed a very kind and detailed person who shows high professionalism. Upon reading the good reviews given, I went to his clinic to have a simple scaling and polishing. He explained a lot of my teeth situation and taught me the type of fillings which I should ask for next time, should the filling done by other dentist drops off in the future. He is definitely not one who will charge his patient anyhow as his fees is very reasonable, compared to some dental clinics. Please support him!

Dr. Bernard gave me a consulation of my teeth and was very detailed in explaining my teeth & gum situation. Did not persuade me do unnecessary things like straightening or removing teeth like my previous dentist would. Dr. Heng Min Hua did my teeth cleaning today and she was really gentle, patient, and was very thorough throughout the whole cleaning process! Unlike my previous dentist which was rough and cleaning was not thorough at all. I also told Dr. Heng I had problems flossing my teeth and after the cleaning, she helped to floss my teeth and it was so easy. Apart from this experience, the prices are very very affordable, coming from a student. Receptionist was also efficient, approachable & kind! They also offer subsidies here for CHAS card holders, unlike most of the dentists nowadays.

For years, my relatives and I are patients of Dr Bernard Tan. The elderly have their dentures done at fully subsidised rate. I have scaling done yearly and fillings done occasionally at fully subsidised rates. Our oral health is taken care of by him and his staff. They are professional, competent and caring. On 18th April 2023 I just consulted him, thinking I have loose teeth. He examined my teeth and reassured me that I don’t have loose teeth. He patiently explained why Asians tend to have gaps between teeth on the lower gum. My relatives and I travel from the west to Bukit Merah for dental treatments at his clinic because he and his staff offer quality and affordable (fully subsidised rates) dental services. We are in good hands at his dental clinic.
